Security
At the heart of UL’s European operations is the security and access control testing facility based in Frankfurt. This facility is integrated into our global network of labs, allowing you to gain access to most international markets while working with local experts. The UL Security Laboratory in Frankfurt, Germany is dedicated to assisting security-device manufacturers. The experts in Frankfurt specialize in access control systems, burglar alarm controls, intrusion sensors, ballistics, locks and other electronic and physical security products.
Mechanical Testing
UL’s complementary testing facility in Warrington, UK specializes in a range of testing to verify the safety and performance of door hardware. Our testing offers a range of mechanical durability, temperature, impact and corrosion testing to EN, UL and BHMA performance standards.
Fire
UL’s dedicated fire laboratory is based in Rosenheim, Germany. This facility offers the European market a vast portfolio of fire testing and certification services for building materials and products according UL, EN and BS standards. Our testing is conducted in accordance with ISO EN 17025. Our experienced engineering team performs tests required for internationally relevant certificates related to reaction to fire behavior, fire resistance, and smoke protection.
